Settling In Sessions

​

We offer a free settling-in period to help your child become familiar with the nursery environment, routines and staff at their own pace. These sessions are designed to make the transition into nursery as smooth and reassuring as possible for both children and parents.

Registration Pack.

​

Upon registration, each child will receive a special Speckles Bag containing useful nursery information and items to help your child feel part of the nursery family from day one.

 

Communication With Families

We believe strong partnerships with parents are an important part of every child’s learning journey.

 

To help keep families connected and informed, we use the FAMLY APP and platform.

Through Famly, parents can:

• Track their child’s day and routines

• Receive photos, observations and learning updates

• View meals, naps and toileting information

• Send and receive instant messages with staff

• Stay updated with nursery news, events and reminders

We aim to make communication easy, supportive and accessible, helping families stay involved in their child’s development every step of the way.

What To Bring

​

We kindly ask parents to provide:

• Spare clothes

• Weather-appropriate outdoor wear

• Nappies, wipes and creams if required

• Comfort items if needed for settling

Meals & Snacks

​

Healthy meals and snacks are provided throughout the day, supporting healthy eating habits and children’s wellbeing.

Optional Uniform

​

Children are welcome to wear our optional nursery uniform, helping them feel comfortable and part of the nursery community.

​

Outdoor Learning

​

Children have daily access to our garden and outdoor areas where they can explore, play and develop confidence through active learning.

Security & Safety

Your child’s safety is extremely important to us. Our nursery has secure entry procedures and all staff are fully trained in:

Parking & Access

​

We offer convenient off-street parking with nursery entrance access located at the rear of the building, along with buggy storage for families using prams or pushchairs.
